One password, one page, many users
Permalink
Hello,
I'm putting together a site for a company - I'm not a PHP developer - strictly front end so I'm hoping I can sort this with the C5 interface and page permissions.
They want to assign a single password to many of their customers. All use the same password to access one page on the site which is invisible to anyone who isn't logged in with the password.
Do members have to have unique passwords? Will it cause problems on the site if a few people are logged in at the same time with the same password?
Thanks
Allison

Thanks Jordan, that's great.
I have since heard from the client who say they don't want people to register online though - (madness I know) people have to register via snail mail and then they contact them to give them the password to access the page.
Can you do that if there are no online members?
Thanks
Allison
DOH! Jordan I can now see you have already answered this question in your post. That will teach me to read things properly!
Thank you very much for your help.

An even simpler alternative would be to create 1 user account and just give that account's name and password to everyone, then you don't have to create new accounts for each new person.
