Only one page type in design view

Permalink 4 users found helpful
I installed a new version concrete5 and went into the design view for a new page and there was only one page type listed. I'd used the the theme before and I knew it had at least 3 types. After some research, I went to into themes and "inspected" the theme and activated the page types. I'd never had to do that before, usually the page types are activated when the theme is.

Just thought this tip might help someone later on.

Oh my goodness you helped me SO much!
On one domain, I never had to do this.
Trying to make another Concrete site on another domain, I wasn't able to choose page types until I did this.
THANK YOU for restoring my sanity!

I believe if you check the "install sample content" box when installing concrete5 it gives you those page types, but if you don't check that then you just get the one page type (in case anyone is wondering about why this happens).

You know what... I bet you're right. I had sample content on my first site and not the second one. Strange, but thanks for solving the mystery!
