Page Type Permissions - Is this possible?
Further to another thread in which someone kindly showed me how to set composer pages to always publish in a certain location I'm now trying to get the permissions in line... but struggling to get this right...
Is it possible to restrict user groups ability to publish certain page types via composer?
I've set up 3 sub 'blog' sections of the site. Each one will be published by a different user group. I've created a page type for each 'blog' that publishes to the correct section.
However when the user goes into composer they can choose from all 3 page types (and therefore publish to the other blogs). Is it possible to lock this down using C5 permissions?
[edit] I'm using advanced permissions

What you can do is to limit the permissions of the publish target parent pages. Limit the "Add Sub-Page" permission to allow only users from the wanted groups to add sub pages to that page.
This way, they couldn't publish the drafts they start writing under the wrong section but they could still enter the writing view of a wrong page type.
