Page Types [Adding own]

Hi there
I've been looking through the documentation, and wasn't able to find an answer to this.
If I have a theme I made on my own, and want a page type other than full, left sidebar, etc. how should I be uploading it? What should I name it, is there a special code/description to put in?

Also, if you've already installed your theme and you added/created a new page type, you should go to Pages & Themes from the Dashboard and "Inspect" the theme you have installed. This will allow you to add the new page type(s) that you may have created after your theme was originally installed.
