Photos sizes different on different pages

Resize the photos before uploading. Try resizing all your images (for the banners) to 900px/width X 285px/height and re-upload them. This will give you more consistent results.
REASON:
If one photo is 1000px/width X 500px/height and the other is 1200px/width X 400px/height, resizing them both to 900px/width X 300px/width will give you differing results.. because you have two different size photos that are both being constrained to the same dimensions.
TEST:
On the second link, try constraining the image to the correct width and leave the width blank; you'll find that the image ends up being higher than the first one.
ADVICE:
If all your photos have the same dimensions, then you can constrain them both to the same dimensions and they will both be the same size. You really should always resize/optimise your images before uploading. This helps speed up the page load time too.
