Picnik Export "forbidden"

Hi everyone, thanks for your time. I have searched through the site with no luck regarding my question.

When I go to edit an image in Picnik, everything works great until I try and export it. I get this error:

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /concrete/index.php/tools/required/files/importers/remote on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Any advice?

Thanks,
DF

Bump, I uploaded a screen shot of the error.

I tried 777'ing the importers/remote and no luck.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Could you check the PHP version of your host and see if the open_basedir option is turned on? I had a similar problem with PHP 5.1 and open_basedir. I submitted this bug report, but it's awaiting confirmationhttp://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5405/file_exists-not-good-...

The problem in that case was due to a bug in the file_exists() function in PHP 5.1 which causes it to mangle relative paths.

The path you posted /concrete/index.php... is looking for a directory off of root called concrete which doesn't exist, but if it did it would be off-limits to the public.

If your host is not running PHP 5.2 I would try to get them to upgrade asap.

Ok, well I contacted host gator and one of their techs got it going.

Apparently it was a security_mod issue...they have whitelisted the problem so hopefully anyone else using host gator will be fine from this point forward.

Cheers!
