Picnik Export gives 404 Page Not Found

I'm trying to get the Picnik picture edit facility working but find that as soon as I'm finished editing the image and press Export in Picnik, it goes back to a Page Not Found at my site. The REQUEST_URI value at the 404 page gives:

REQUEST_URI: /index.php/tools/required/files/importers/remote?task=update%5Ffile&fID=27&%5Freturntype=text&url%5Fupload%5F1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Epicnikr%2Ecom%2Ffile%2F1

I do have a /concrete/tools/files/importers/remote.php but I don't even have a /concrete/tools/required directory. There's nothing in /tools. The permissions on /tools and on /concrete/tools are 777.

I'm having this same issue now with picmonkey. I'm able to access pic monkey via the concrete5 edit function, but when i go to save an image back to my site I get a page not found error.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks
