picture and text layout

Hi there all--
I'm trying to add a content block to a site including a picture and text. I can layout the thing fine in word, but if I copy/paste to the content block, the pic disappears. If I add the pic and then texty separately, I can't edit the whole thing to look like what I want within the content block. Suggestions?
many thanks,
NM

Images must already be in c5's media library so you can include them in the content area.

Best way to position your pointer to apply formatting is with the keyboard arrow keys. shift + right/left arrow will move the selection right or left, for better fine tuning.

If you are familiar with html and css you can use jordanlevs free designercontent block creator to make a custom formatted block with fields for each item.

Other than that make sure you have an excellent theme. A good theme will make it much easier to format content.
