[SOLVED] Pretty URL error

I got the following error when activating the pretty URL function (see screenshot).
On enabling aswell as disabling the setting I get the error. The setting is saved but the Pretty URL are not working even if I manually add a .htaccess file.
Any idea how to fix it?

I've never heard of phpinfo being disabled! Have a look through php settings; if nothing jumps out, ask your host.
Got it working again. I forgot to change the url in the htaccess. I was "RewriteBase /" instead of "RewriteBase /subfolder/".
Error is still strange.. will contact my host.
