I think if you want to let people see them, they will also be able to save them... You can make it a little more difficult by embedding them in a Flash movie, such as Slideshow Pro, but it will still be possible to do a screen capture and save to an image file. I think generally people who are concerned about this (e.g. professional photographers) typically watermark the images or put up low-res versions or both.
