Prevent re-ordering of pages in sitemap

Hi there,

It seems that even when a user or group is set to not be able to edit a page, they can still change its order from within the sitemap.

I don't want to disable access to the site map since the user or group should be able to change the order of pages that they own.

Is there a solution for this?

Many thanks,

no, the permissions don't get that deep.

Many thanks for your reply.

It's a shame it can't do this - we are looking to develop a site for a global company who will have different people managing different country based sections. The permissions model works fine for everything, aside from the fact someone in France could come along and drag someone's UK page into their section by mistake.

The only other solution would be to make each section a seperate website of its own. The problem is, there are going to be around 15 countries so I didn't really want 15 installations of C5.

Thanks anyway,

Moving/coping pages should honor the add subpage permission settings.

So if you setup the french node to only allow french admins to add
pages, a german admin won't be able to copy their own page in there,
or a french page out..
