Printing a completed form

Hi,
Is there a way of printing a completed form submission from the client side?
I have added print page from the MP but when you press print then return to the form all the data has vanished,
reason behind question,
We are trying to create a repair booking request that has the option to print a receipt for the user.
What would I need to do to complete this task.
