How do I make 'Privtae Messages' work?

I have a site with a lot of users.
I have Discussion Block installed and working.

I want to enable the ability to use 'Private Messages' but I cant work it out. In the same way that the C5 forum has 'Email This Member'

Any help would be massively appreciated.

aren't they auto on if you enable user profiles

That's what I thought but I can't work out how to put the link that says 'email this member'

The link should already be there in the members page, on the left side.

Just to close this off, I did not have mail functionality enabled in my installation! As soon as I did this , the e-mail link appeared.

I enabled my messaging in the site settings, I still don't get an option for users to message each other. http://www.naturalinstinct.us
