problems with editing access to add-ons
Permalink
I use bluehost host my site but am using concrete5 to build it. It was working fine.. I added some add-ons and things worked fine.. I upgraded to a newer version of concrete5 and certain editing aspects no longer worked.. bluehost said I should downgrade to the older version so i did.. I could now edit as usual.. except for the several free C5 add-ons previously installed . suddenly those were non functional and the edit button is also non functional. I have tried re-downloading them but ? they already are and since I can not edit.. I can not uninstall? I have talked to franz a few times on it but nothing he has had me try works. It involves these add-ons:::
Social Icons - 1.0
Paypal Donations Box - 1.0.1
Google Gadget - 1.0
Music - 1.0.3
Galleria image gallery - 1.0.1
tnSpacer - 1.1
The problem is not these add-ons .. it has to have something to do with what happened when up upgraded.. then downgraded.
Note.. I have not upgraded to current version of Concrete5 and the prior editing problem is not a problem.. that only involved Font size style and color selections when editing content. That all works fine now.. but .. those previously installed add-ons are still non functional and i have no edit access?
Note* I am not that savvy on all this but manage to get by. Any ideas? I want to install some add-ons requiring purchase but feel a need to remedy this situation before I do.. in case I have to abandon C5 and start from scratch with some other CMS
