Product Page that looked like the main page

Hello all..
I haven't been able to play around with concrete5 lately due to work but one of the things I noticed before was that when you've created a product page for a specific item, the main page including the navigation and everything else disappears and i'm left with just that product unless i add blocks that links back to the main page or the page before.
I guess my question is, is there a way for me to create a product page for item with pre-filled blocks so I don't have to manually do it everytime for each item? I have at least 2,000 items to add and doing it one by one is kinda tedious.

Check out "Page Defaults". Go to Dashboard -> Pages and Themes -> Page Types, click the "Defaults" button next to the appropriate page type. And blocks you add here will be added to all new pages created in the future. You can also add blocks to existing pages by clicking on a block and choosing "Setup on Child Pages". But note that it gets really confusing really quickly because if a page already has a block on it and you do this "setup on child pages" thing it will add ANOTHER block to it.
