Profiles customisation

Hi I have created 2 sets of user attributes. And I have 2 different groups.
Group 1 should show both sets
Group 2 should only show one set
this is all for the profiles section. how do I customize the page to pick up that the user is in group 2 and should hide one of the sets.
Any urgent help will be greatly appreciated.
