publishing free xml glallery onto site

Hello,
I recently downloaded a free xml gallery. I followed their directions to add photos to the gallery, but I need more clarification on the directions to publish to my site. First, it says I can test the gallery by opening up xmlGallery.html. Is there a certain program I need to open this up in? Also, it says in order to publish my gallery, I need to upload files to my server. This demonstrates my ignorance, but how do I download to a server. Please help! Thanks

I figured out how to test it. Still looking for help on how to publish.
You can upload files using FTP.
Everything else should be in the guide of the gallery you downloaded

So,I need to log into my cPanel in HostMonster and upload there???
No, FTP. a program can be used for this. Fillezilla for example, you can use it to see the folders/files on the server and remove/add other folders/files
