Question about visit report

I have 400 site visits today. That is about 8 times what it's been. Granted, I did a lot of twittering and facebook posts today, but it has steadily been increasing at the same rate for about 2 1/2 hours, and I would think that it would slow down by now. Is it possible to find out if the number of visits are each unique or if they are being done by a robot or something?

Thanks.

I would recommend you sign up for google analytics. Simply login and place the code they give you into the "Tracking Code" box in your websites "Sitewide settings" area.

Google Analytics reports are great and will give you more details than you ever dreamed of regarding who is visiting you website and from where.

for that graph, it doesn't do it by unique views, so every page that is viewed, +1 to the graph

and when you have done so, you can embed a relevant graph to your dashboard welcome site, like I did here:

just sign up athttp://www.embeddedanalytics.com/... and you can embed one graph for free..
