Random white bar

So, by cleaning up my code I have eliminated a lot of issues with my site, but one glaring problem is a random white bar between press/research and capabilities. Can anyone identify the cause?
Also, how can i make the link size of the Login match that of the other links?

It seems like you have solved the problem as I can't see any white bar and the login link is now the correct size.
