recaptcha not showing

Hi,

I installed another add-on so that I can use the latest "I am not a robot" captcha.
After installation I can set this new captcha method but the problem is that even though I set the keys correctly, nothing shows up at the spot where the captcha should be.

When I switch back I can see the letters with stripes trough them (standard captcha of C5)

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Greets,

Max

Hi maxspanoghe,

Are you using reCAPTCHA add-on on your localhost?

No, on a live website.
Any ideas?

I can't get Recaptcha1.1.1 to work on my localhost (V8.8.0.2 at the moment, planning to upgrade later.) The package lnstalls, but when I go to Captcha Setup only SecurImage is listed.
I am working towards upgrading my live site from 5.7 to 5.8, but want to make sure I know what I am doing by testing everything in my sandbox first. I am having considerable difficulties. Recaptcha is working fine at the moment on the live site, but I'm afraid that when I upgrade to 5.8 I will have the same problems as on my localhost.

Please ignore. I just found a fix that somebody else had posted.

Did you set the correct URL for the site in your reCaptcha API key settings? I believe there is an error that is thrown if the URL doesn't match to one that's allowed.
