How to add a user created through Dashboard, to registered users group from Dashboard?
hi jupiter,
thanks for the reply.
AFAIK these 3 groups come with the installation. Administrators and 1 super user, Registered Users, Guests.
so, without creating any group, if I register through the site(or create and add a user programatically ), I will be added as a "Registered User".
but, if I add a user through the "Add User" button available in Dashboard->Search Users, I am not able to see the "Registered Users" as one of the groups.
regards,
Srikanth.

so you have to enable advanced permission for this...please see this link below...

I enabled the advanced permissions, but still cant see the group "Registered Users".
At first please create a group named "Registered user" form dashboard->Members->user gorups...
then to add user click on dashboard->search user->add user..
At the time of add you can see the checkbox named registered user...select the checkbox and the user will be add in this group...
This is normal procedure...if you add functionality as per real world fact means "the user who are registered" then you have customize..
