Remember me checkbox in login.php

How would you change this code in login.php so that the checkbox is checked by default?

<?php echo $form->checkbox('uMaintainLogin', 1)?> <label for="uMaintainLogin"><?php echo t('Remember Me')?></label>

Simply change the value 1 to 0 (zero)
