Remove Blog Author from Blog Posts

I need help in removing the blog author from articles. The author has volunteers adding articles and we don't want them listed as the author.
I found the code to edit in the CORE page type, but when I added a blog_entry.php page to the site root page type and updated the page to remove it, the author is still showing.
I know there must be a way to do this without future c5 updates overwriting my changes, but can't seem to figure it out.

This is likely setup in Composer. Do they use composer to add a new article? Are you using a custom theme or one of the defaults?
Did you clear concrete5 cache after your override?
If you are on 5.6.0.2 you also need to disable override cache to see the override taking place, then enable it again.
