Remove Certain Dashboard Menu Items

Hi there, I'm pretty new to concrete5 and was wandering if there is anyway to some of the left hand menu items on the dashboard such as

- sitewide settings
- reports

etc etc

Is there a way to comment this out from the PHP code?

Go to your sitemap. Check "Show System Pages". Click on the page/item that you want to hide, select Permissions and remove View from the Group you don't want to see that page.
