Remove line breaks between addHeaderItems and addFooterItems

Permalink
How do I remove the line breaks between items in my head and foot whenever I use $this->addHeaderItem or $this->addFooterItem?

I'd like my head to read something like the following.

<head><meta charset="utf-8"><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1"><title>Why Greek yogurt is overrated</title><meta name="description" content="Greek yogurt popular with adults but it will not save Greece."><meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width"><link href="/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet"><link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico"><script> var CCM_DISPATCHER_FILENAME = "/index.php"; var CCM_CID = 165;var CCM_EDIT_MODE = false; var CCM_ARRANGE_MODE = false; var CCM_IMAGE_PATH = "/i"; var CCM_TOOLS_PATH = "/tools/required"; var CCM_BASE_URL = "http://www.mysite.com"; var CCM_REL = ""; </script><script> var CCM_SECURITY_TOKEN = '696969696969696969696969696969696969'; </script><script src="/js/mdrn.js"></script><script src="/js/jq17.js"></script><script src="/js/base.js"></script></head>

I dislike my head the way it currently reads, which looks something like the following.

<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1">
<title>Why Greek yogurt is overrated</title>
<meta name="description" content="Greek yogurt popular with adults but it will not save Greece.">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width">
<link href="/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet">
<link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico">
<script> var CCM_DISPATCHER_FILENAME = "/index.php"; var CCM_CID = 165;var CCM_EDIT_MODE = false; var CCM_ARRANGE_MODE = false; var CCM_IMAGE_PATH = "/i"; var CCM_TOOLS_PATH = "/tools/required"; var CCM_BASE_URL = "http://www.mysite.com"; var CCM_REL = ""; </script>
<script> var CCM_SECURITY_TOKEN = '696969696969696969696969696969696969'; </script>
<script src="/js/mdrn.js"></script>
<script src="/js/jq17.js"></script>
<script src="/js/base.js"></script>
</head>

Any clue on how to make the second of these snippets look tight like the first? Most of this stuff of course is added -- by way of addHeaderItem -- into my head from elements/header_required.php and elements/page_controls_header.php.

you need to minify your HTML output...

I used this add-onhttp://www.adrikodde.nl/blog/2013/how-optimize-concrete5-html-outpu... and it really did massive HTML and CSS minifying....

PS. if this add-on ever broke anything, just make sure to remove the comments of the respected html/css file.
