Remove old page versions deletes copied blocks from published pages

if blocks are copied from on page to the other and get delete at there original page/area and the old voersion of the original page is deleted, the copy gets removed from the new destination as well ...
is this a known issue? any advice on this subject?
i found out, that if i edit the block concrete5 creates a new instanz, so, that it preserve teh copy now.

Do not delete original or edit the copy, as you said, to create a new version.
