Removing "My Site" from the "Plain Yogurt" template

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I have put up a "beginner" site calledhttp://www.goodfoodworld.com using the "Plain Yogurt" template.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to replace or remove the words "My Site" at the top of the page.

I'm sure it's a naming option somewhere but I can't find it.

Attached is a screen shot of the first page.

Thanks!

Hope this helps you :-)

Thanks! Looks like this is a common problem - I found the header file and deleted the info.

Thanks so much!

yes. probably the most asked question ever, and its only that way for legacy reasons...

happily, in the next version of c5 there's a FAQ link to this in the sample content so hopefully less time reanswering this. ;)

Franz,
That this question is asked so frequently may be an indication that the user interface is unintuitive (and "add more documentation" unfortunately doesn't usually solve these problems).

Perhaps instead of hard-coding the block into the page, there could just be an area in the layout with an alias from the global scrapbook block in the page defaults? That way people just just click on the darn thing and edit it.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree. Lately, this seems to come up daily (by multiple people). It is not very intuitive.
