Removing options to add things, dashboard, etc for Admin?

Hi guys,

I'm developing a very simple website for a client, and I was wondering if it's possible to remove certain elements for users other than the Admin?

For example:
- Remove the Dashboard link from the top navigation
- Remove the "More Blocks" option when adding a new block
- Remove the "Customize toolbar" from the edit content block
etc?

I want to do this so that the client cannot accidentally click on things and get confused with options I have not discussed with them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

55webdesign has got you covered. I do it for all my clients too, you can restrict them from doing anything pretty much, you can make it so they can't see the news window that pops up upon login, restrict them from getting in the system and settings dashboard, stop them from connecting to the marketplace etc etc...

Good luck!

Thank you so much. I'll watch the video and post any comments I might have. This is great - it'll take away any confusion for the clients that aren't to savvy in computers!
