Reorder Pages At Top Level

Is there a way I can reorder pages at the top level of my C5 site?

I know I can move pages below the top level but I just want to reorder pages at one level.

Thanks

You mean the level with "About", "Examples", etc... by default?

You should be able to do so simply by dragging the pages up/down in the dashboard sitemap. Don't drag the page onto another page...instead drag it and when the tiny dotted line appears above/below another page, drop it. It should save the display order.

Does this help? Or is your question about something else?

Man I feel stupid.

I was trying to click and drag on hte words not the page icon on the left.

You're right I can definitely drag my pages around when I click the part of the page listing.

Many thanks!

When I try and drag a site page all the pages move with it. What I am trying to do is move the about, example Etc. to different orders in the site map area. When I click on a page, I select change page order, then it says to click on icon and drag to new location. When I do this all the pages move with it. Any recomendations how to make this work? TY

Hi - I tried to drag the icon for the Contact page to be above the About page and I can't get it to work. Also, do you know how I can rename a page? And one more, how do I get a new page I created to show up on the Sitemap?

Thanks.

Reorder Pages in Site Menu

1. Click on the page name and select Change Page Order from the Content menu. (c5 5.3.2)
2. Click and hold in the page icon to the left of the page title and drag the page to the place in the order you wish.

Rename in Site Menu

1. Click on the page name and select Properties from the Content menu. (c5 5.3.2)
2. Click and change the Page Name in the Name form area then click OK to save.

New Pages in Site Menu

Make sure you select the appropriate depth for your site map settings. By default the navigation setting is only level level below top level.

Hope this helps.
