Requiring users to log in for one page only

Hello,

My organization is seeking to have one page of our site (just one) require users to log-in in order to access its contents. What is the simplest way to do this?

I considered some of the Marketplace items (Register User Pro, for example) but am unsure about if this would have to be applied to the entire site, or just one page as needed. Using C5's Register option totally backfired, as it not only required that all users register to view the entire website, but also kicked me out as admin and it took a while to figure out how I could weasel my way back in!

I do not know code - laymens terms as much as possible please! Thank you for any and all guidance shared...

I believe you should just be able to set Permissions to Registered Users just for the one page. As long as the one page isn't the homepage it shouldn't affect any of the other pages (except child pages).
