Rich text editor.....is quite poor??????
Permalink
Hi All
First off Im a long time joomla guy & decided to give concrete a try...so messing with it today (first time) Im looking at creating a landscaping site, and have the site installed at the url below
Im running vers 5.4.2.1... (editor in office mode if thats relevant at all)
My issue is this... I want to edit the text into bold or a heading or whatever..and nothing seems to change when using the text editor...with one exception...in the example below the color of the text did change to white.... but NO other changes are reflected...
a useless text editor isnt gonna fly..so....
Is there something obvious Im missing here...???
(yes I know to publish the newest version, and I have also looked at the site in various browsers )
http://brettscuttingedge.com/index.php...
please look at the bottom left of the page
where it says stuff goes here too
this is the html copied from the text editor
obviously its telling the browser large text..and a heading..yet it doesnt display?
<h1><span style="font-size: large; color: #ffffff; font-family: times new roman,times;"><strong>stuff goes here too</strong></span></h1>
thanks in advance for your help

if you use Firefox Firebug or Chrome inspectors, you can see by clicking the text that there is this rule applying to it, thus nullifying your intent:
#footer-content strong {}
so modify your theme, and you should see your intended WYSIWYG stylings.
