Hi there!
Good morning!
As you can see above my concern is by making work the block "RSS displayer".
I have already check most of the posts related to this but still couldn't figure out how to. Could any of you please let me know step by step how to make it work. At the end of the process, I get the message "invalid feed address" and don't know what I am exactly doing wrong or I am missing.
Thanks a lot in advance!!!

What's the address to the feed you are trying to add?

Hi Hypocrite,
First of all, thank you for responding.
The address of the feed that I am trying to associate with the module ishttp://www.marinett.eu/news.xml....
I haven't created anything yet, I have just invented that URL. That's why... I don't know how to proceed...
Thanks a lot for any suggestion!

The problem probably is that your feed is empty.

Try to test it with a working feed first.

For example with:
http://news.google.com/news?ned=us&topic=h&output=rss...

If that works, your RSS displayer is fine. Just generate your own XML-feed first and replace the test feed the correct one.

Hi there!
Ey thanks a lot! it worked as you said.
I have already created the xml, but I don't know how to run it associated with a news page/section in order users to subscribe.
I am getting closer and closer. Hopefully, one of these days I'll make it work.
The thread I am talking about is:

What do you think? Could you suggest me how to with that issue?
Thanks in advance!!!

If I understand correctly, what you are doing is not possible at the moment with RSS Displayer.

Some of the blocks you can add to a page, have the small RSS icon in the end which allows you to subscribe to the feed.

But RSS Displayer is just what the name says, it shows feeds.

What you could do is create an image block. Now add the RSS icon image to that block and then make it a link to your feed. Now when someones clicks on that link, their RSS reader (usually the browser) should ask them if they want to subscribe to it.

Hi Hypocrite!!
Sorry for the delay! I'd like to thank you for ALL your help. I have successfully installed it and works well. I still have problems by displaying pictures and content. It was a big help as well the this post:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/customizing_c5/rss-block/... However, after having changed some part of the php and some of the css, it doesn't look alright.
I will see what I do. Could you suggest me anything? Another issue would be to let the user subscribe to my feeds...
I wish you could help me with this too.
Thanks in advance!!!!
