RSS Displayer not loading feed

I am running Concrete5.7.5.1 and have been trying to get the RSS feed displayer running on my site. I have been searching for hours with zero luck. I am currently testing 2 different rss feeds just to get them displaying right. My site is still in it's early stages, but this is something I want to get working.

My website ishttp://www.b-and-atech.com
The feeds work on other readers but not on the site. I left the tests there, on the bottom of my main page, so you can see the error codes. There are no error logs, even though they are turned on.
I have attempted to link directly to the xml files as well, with no luck. As you can see, one is secure and one is not, so that is not the issue. I am completely lost.
The two feeds I am using are:
https://threatpost.com/category/malware/feed...
http://www.sciencedaily.com/rss/...

The errors for them are below, respectively:
Unable to connect to threatpost.com:443 . Error #0: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to threatpost.com:443 (Permission denied)
Unable to connect to www.sciencedaily.com:80 . Error #0: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect tohttp://www.sciencedaily.com:80 (Permission denied)

Hi band2852,

On your site, the Science Daily feed is displaying, but you are receiving an error for the Threatpost feed.

I tested this myself and received the same results - Science Daily loads and Threatpost shows the error "Feed failed to load, got response code 403". I was able to load various Threatpost feeds in a stand alone feed reader.

Have you checked the bug tracker to see if others are experiencing this issue? If no one has reported this issue, I recommend reporting it and including the specific steps required to repeat the error.

There was a massive lapse in my troubleshooting, I forgot to check outbound connections, so I set the server to allow the feeds, and that fixed the Science Daily, but not threatpost, which is the one that I actually want.

I spent a long time combing through all the concrete forums, with no luck. I am going to talk to the feed provider and see if there is something different about their feed. If there is, I will update again, I found many articles with this problem, but no solutions, so I want to make sure this gets closed.
