Saving a New Layout...OK I understand this is not possible yet – cool

Hi Ive made a lovely new 2 column 1 row layout with a pic on the left and copy on the right and I would like to save it to the scrapbook.

Then I can add a whole bunch of these to a page and change out their values job done.

Er but how can I save this layout to the scrapbook? I cant see where to do this?

When I click on the + sign and go to edit layout I get a fatal error so if the save to scrapbook thing is in edit layout I cant reach it...

as mentioned on that other post, i think the layout is having issues because of the underscore in your area name.

also, the scrapbook feature only works with blocks, so you can't save layouts to the scrapbook. however, you can save layouts as "presets" if you want to reuse them (done through the layout edit screen).

this probably requires a lot of backbending, but it would be nice to have the ability to save whole layouts, with blocks intact, into the scrapbook. I had a situation where I could have used this for a client.

Perhaps a new feature for a future release.
