Search block is not returning results

I inserted a search block but when I search something nothing happens when I click submit, it just reloads the page, the URL appends the search criteria but no search results page. i set that block to open to a new page.

In that new page, you have to insert another search block, as the search results appear inside the search block (below the search textfield).
