Selected Attribute order

Is there any way to order the Selected Attribute list shown in the page properties. Even if they are placed in sets and ordered they still show in the order they were originally created.

can anyone explain how C5 orders the Selected Attributes as it seems to be when the attribute was created. Is it possible to alter the DB to change the order.
