Session sharing?

Hello Community,
I have installed Concrete5 inhttp://www.example.com/concrete5/ and Codeigniter inwww.www.example.com/codeigniter.... Is it possible to use the C5 session in the Codeigniter directory? If this is possible, can someone give me a hint how to do it?

You might be interested in single user logging in (SSO). Is it? If so, the this add-on might help you to understand the process.
