How do I set a new template to be the new default template for pages?
I cannot remove the Full template without first doing this, but cannot find where to do it.

In 5.7, each page type can use different templates.
Is there a reason for trying to delete the Full template?
To view what page templates have been set for a page type, you will need to inspect each page type individually. In the page type Basic Details section, you will find "Allowed Page Templates" and "Page Templates".
