Setting up editors to use composer

I'd like to set up a group called 'editors' and give them access to create articles.

The site is using advanced permissions.

I have already setup a page type called 'Article' in composer and I'm happy with the way that it works, but I'm stumped on how to allow access to it (and only it) to the editors using composer.

You could setup a page with a large form, for submitting articles if you dont get an answer. Than when the form submits just copy, and paste from your form submission to an article.

Another option is to use the guest bloggerhttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/guest-blogger/... add on which may be just what you need. An alternative to that is to use Jordan Lev`s designer content block to recreate the composer controls on a page only available to contributors.

Not exactly what you were looking for, but some that may work for you nonetheless.
