simple news

i just bought simple news package.
It added to functionality ok.
I am adding news to my pages.
How do i get the nice templates to work?
there is a bloggish / page template which i just can't get to work .

ok - - i got the template to work .. i clicked on news ( from Edit page) and selected cutom template
