Site Name problems
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Well I am not sure what is wrong but for the website name I changed it and for some reason even though it is changed on the dashboard it says "My site" and does not change.. Is there anybody that knows how to fix this or is there a php/cfg I can change to just inject the name into it?
I have the same problems this morning. I can't change the Site name. I can enter a different name in the Dashbord, but it does not come up on the site.
go to Dashboard->Scrapbook->Global Scrapbook
change whats in there
change whats in there
I got 4 people asking the same question in Japanese concrete5.
So I quickly put together the FAQ doc for it in Japanese.
We should do the same here.
Since 5.3.0, we have My_Site_Name global scrapbook system. As a long time concrete5 user, I didn't realize I became blind.

Thank you very much, Mnkras!
Apparently the "Global Scrapbook" is not created if one does not Install the "demo content."
I just did a fresh install for a client, and this time I didn't include the demo content... and no Global Scrapbook... so no "My_Site_Name" to edit!!
Not sure if this is a bug, or if the FAQ item just needs to be changed.

Followup to my previous post, about missing Global Scrapbook.
I created a New Scrapbook, and called it
"Global Scrapbook"
I then added a content block, with a logo image, and saved it.
Next, I renamed the block:
"My_Site_Name" (including underscores)
Once I saved that, it showed up on the site, replacing the site name.
