I dealt with a first (for me) last night editing a site. A newly created page needed to be deleted and resisted :(
When trying to delete the page from either the sitemap or from the page menu itself, the processing spinner would begin and never end. It then generated and displayed workflow errors (many) that were not valid... VERY frustrating.
I still do not know the cause but, after a good night sleep, I looked at it this morning and decided to simply drag and drop it into the trash bin from the sitemap. Easy Peasy - page gone.
Its not a fix because I still don't know the cause but I figured the tip/solution was worth passing along to save someone else wasted hours :)
