Site search isn't searching certain attributes

For instance..
On this page you'll see a part number of 38381...http://go.agenity.com/sem/product-catalog/prep-products/world-class...

Yet if you do a search for 38381 you get zero results.

Sometimes just regular content doesn't show up.. Like on this pagehttp://go.agenity.com/sem/product-catalog/prep-products/scuff-and-c... there is a SKU number 38331. If you do a search for 38331 that page doesn't show up in the search.

What am I missing? Is this just an add-on that doesn't work consistently or am I doing something wrong?

I haven't tried searching for attributes, but is the attribute available in the Sitewide Search?
When you add an attribute, you must make it available if you want people to find it via search... Hope this helps

I have it checked off to be part of the site search.. yet it's still not working as it shows in my example.

OK, there are 2 checks, one for Sitewide Search and one for Dashboard Page Search, are you sure both are checked?

If you're sure, then there might be a problem with your C5 installation, because I tried searching for an attribute and it worked fine after I ticked the 'Sitewide Search' checkbox.

When you create an attribute, you get to name it, give it a handle and also 2 checkboxes. Those are the ones I'm talking about

I attached a screenshot.
