Site wide Name
Permalink
Hi, I am using theme Neat and am trying to use a .png file as the Site Wide name and centre it within the header block.
The problem I am having is that Neat seems to be stretching the .png file and not centering it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for that, I have tried this but it has not moved the image to the centre of the page.
What is the site address?

It is still under construction. I have tried again by putting the code in a customized css file and this has improved it a little but given a few more problems as well as not looking right on mobiles.... Head scratching is beginning to wear my hair out... Thanks for looking at it for me.

Well, looking at this in the browser console I don't see the reason why your image is not aligned to the center.
I have tried manipulating the html and css in the browser console to no avail.
Perhaps one of the other C5 members can spot it?

I reckon it could be .navbar-header's float left, in bootstrap.min.css.
Thanks for looking... I thought it was perhaps just me going crazy.
Thanks for that but everything in bootstrap.min.css is starred out so unless there is another file of the same name I don't think that can be the issue.
I can get the header image to move by over-riding that CSS at element level (eg, setting the .navbar-header div to float right), so I reckon that element is responsible.
Thanks, but where do I find this to make an alteration?
I used Firefox developer tools, although any brower's tools can probably be used to change CSS. I'd experiment with that before attempting changes to the underlying code (which would probably involve editing the theme).
Try "text-align: center"
