Sitemap is duplicated on every page

Hello, I'm a beginner to Concrete 5. I am editing the autonav of windowhorses.com and after adding a link there and clearing the site cache, it duplicated to every page. Can someone give advice?

Thanks!

Hi cl5,

When you say that you edited the Auto-Nav to add a link, can you include more detail about what you did, please.

Did you edit the settings of the Auto-Nav block?

Did you modify an Auto-Nav block file?

Hi MrKDilkington,
I needed to add a link to the sidebar Autonav. I added the link "Electronic Press Kit" through the Dashboard->Sitemap. I added an external link under the Home heading. So, I think I modified the content of the autonav block file. On one of the website pages, I accidentally duplicated the autonav (it lists the pages from "Home" to "Contact" twice) but then I deleted the duplication. The desktop version of the website (not mobile version) showed no additional external link on some pages and a duplicated autonav on other pages. When I cleared the site's cache, hoping it would fix everything, it duplicated the autonav on every page of the website.
Perhaps I need to delete a block or something? Not sure what is going on....
Thanks for your help!

When I visit the website, I do not see any duplicated Auto-Navs.

What is the address of a page where you are seeing this issue?

Yes, I see it on almost every page except Home. It was duplicated on the homepage too but the duplication seems to have disappeared.

Your source code is missing a DOCTYPE
You have META and SCRIPT declarations that are not inside the opening head and closing head tags.
This probably due to your header.php file..

Hi weyboat,

Thank you for your help! Unfortunately, as I'm such an extreme beginner and I did not build the site, I just update it from time to time, I have no idea how to modify the issues you've named. Is there a way to fix these issues through the dashboard and website editor?

Unfortunately no, The theme header.php and possibly the theme template files need to be edited to correct this.
