sitename color

Hi again!
This should be simple. Appreciate the help you guys provide.
Want to change sitename color. when I go to stacks/sitename, make changes- doesn't stiok. Always disable and clear cache and so on.
Found reference to changing nav in main.css- is there a line here I can work with for sitename?

Hi Jean-Paul
When I select the sitename bar in edit mode I only get from the drop down menu design, not edit. So if I go to stacks/global areas/sitename I can edit that with the office rich text editor, do the saves and return: no change to the text color.
Dunno- can't change the headernav color either with the front end approach (dashboard).
Have a slightly modifies dark chocolate theme on the page in question, rest of site is in plain yogurt.... like putting in a light switch- never as simple as you think I guess
If all else fails I can put in a custom site name (jpg). Is there a way to make it so it is custom on just that one page (not global)?

Eulalia,
You can make it affect only the one page by creating a single page.
How to Add a Single Page:
Step 1: Using File manager or FTP, locate the folder titled single_pages in the same location as your Concrete5 website, and create a PHP file with the name of the single page you want to create. In my tests I am creating: test.php
Step 2: Login to your Concrete5 dashboard, then Click the dashboard button.
Step3: Beneath the Pages & Themes menu select Single Pages. This will bring up the single pages menu.
In the Add Single Page section, you will see the address of your Concrete5 website with a blank field after it.
Step 4: Enter the name of the page you created in the blank field, without the file extension (.php) and click the gray Add button below it. You will see a notification stating "Page Successfully Added," and the new page listed in the Already Installed list.

Thanks for the tutorial. Playing around with the single page idea now. Also found out how to add sitename blocks, which are editable.
Learn more every time.!

Have you tried logging into the dashboard, Editing the page, clicking the site name, then the Edit option.
You should see the Editor come up with a tool bar on top. If you don't see a button there to change the color you may have to change your Text Editor:
Login to the Dashboard->Roll your mouse over the Dashboard button and select System & Settings->Under Basics, select the Rich Text Editor->Change it from Simple to Office->Click the Saved button.
Here is link to a full article I wrote on how to accomplish this:

After that, click the Return To Website button on the top left->Then click the sitename->Select Edit->Now you will be able to use the new Editor. There will be a button with 2 A's (AA) that allow you to edit the CSS style.
