Slideshow error after upgrade to 5.4

After the upgrade, I added a slideshow ant it appeared always a small blue active link on the top left corner of the slideshow. Whats the problem? See attached picture.

The block by default seems to link the images to themselves. There doesnt seem to be a dashboard option to remove this but read here how to remove the linking:
