Slideshow Errors out in C5.5.2

I have a fresh install of Concrete5.5.2 installed, no upgrade. This is on Godaddy so it may have something to do with it. When I added a slideshow block, the HTML code stops right where the slideshow block starts. The admin toolbar doesn't show and only the content before the placement of the slideshow shows up. Simply put, the slideshow is jacking everything up. Has anyone else run into this and has anyone found a fix?

It could be that when installing the package your host server dropped a file. I have only bumped in to that once, and uninstalling the package, and re installing solved it. I have never had issues with any of the slideshow blocks, and it would be helpful if you shared which add on specifically, or a screenshot of the problem.

It turns out that it was all due to a corrupt image. Thanks.

As I was writing the info below, it dawned on me that I may have a corrupted file in the concrete folder I just downloaded. So, I downloaded Concrete5.5.2.1 again and replaced the concrete folder in my installation with the new download and my problem is resolved. The source, in my case, must have been a corrupt file related to working with "sets", that was in the first 5.5.2.1 upgrade I downloaded. I left my description below to help someone else ID their problem.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm having a similar, if not same, issue. I recently moved a site to a new server and everything works but the Home page. On further investigation, it turns out that the Slideshow block is the source of the problem. When it is set to display images from a set the slideshow won't show and neither will the Edit bar or anything below the slideshow, which includes everything below the included "header.php". If I place the same four images in a "Custom Slideshow" (added individually instead of in a set) then everything works fine. I've tried creating a new set with the same images, and again, the same thing happens when I set the Slideshow to use the set.

Also, I discovered that if I choose "File Sets" from the Dashboard, and then select a set from the list, the set view displays an unformatted list of links that don't work.

I have also deleted the entire "concrete" folder and replaced it with the one in /updates/concrete5.5.2.1
