Slideshow leaving Space below images

Hi, am using the basic slideshow that comes with C5 and finding a large space left underneath before the blocks below. Since it's not doing it with larger images and the 3 images I'm using are exactly the same size am wondering if there is a fixed height built in.
Any help to fix this greatly appreciated.

In the slideshow main div, it is set as height:591px; That's why it has a huge gap beneath the slideshow.
