some blocks not saving
Permalink
I am putting a site on a not familiar server. I can upload images, clear cache, automated jobs do run, I am able to access dashboard and create new pages.
I can "add" blocks to a page but, when I try to save an edited content block or html block, I get the following error:
Empty Sitewide Header Site Title Area Edit Block Copy to Clipboard Delete Design & Custom Template Advanced AzureVantage Hosting Empty Sitewide Header Site Title Area Sitewide Header Site Title Add Block Edit Area Design
Empty Sitewide Header Navigation Area Edit Block Copy to Clipboard Delete Design & Custom Template Advanced Empty Sitewide Header Navigation Area Sitewide Header Navigation Add Block Edit Area Design
Empty Sitewide Header Search Area Edit Block Copy to Clipboard Delete Design & Custom Template Advanced search Empty Sitewide Header Search Area Sitewide Header Search Add Block Edit Area Design
Empty Sitewide Global Navigation Area Edit Block Copy to Clipboard Delete Design & Custom Template Advanced HomeAbout Empty Sitewide Global Navigation Area Sitewide Global Navigation Add Block Edit Area Design
Empty Page Header Area Page
Can add a feature block as long as I do not select an icon...actually the second feature block allowed an image but I got the same error when I added text.
Nav blocks seem to work.
Running 5.7.5.8
PHP 5.6
PHP Modules: CURL, zip, mcrypt, openssl, GD (with freetype), mysql, mbstring, iconv
PHP settings post_max_upload_filesize = 64, post_max_size = 64, php memory limit to 256
PHP Safe Mode Off
MySQL 5.1.5
MySQL Innodb table support.
Apache
azurevantage.net
Any suggestions?

It's hard to interpret that text as an error message. Would you be able to attach a screenshot (picture) of the error?
Thanks for your response.
I just opened a content block in main, typed some text and hit save. This image is the result.(ContentBlockError.png)
I can close the error dialog box see the "block" I was editing with the tool bar removed and no tools accessible on the toolbar.(dialogClosed.png)
If I refresh, the page returns to what it looked like prior to my add block attempt.
***Just in case someone else ever has this problem:
It seems there was mod_security module that was interpreting the requests as malicious. Once I disabled it in the cpanel, all is well! ***

Thanks for the images. I've never seen a problem like that. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
